Terms and Conditions – Warhammer Academy

These are the terms and conditions (Academy Terms) on which you are able to access the Warhammer Academy Platform (the Platform) and any associated services we make available from time to time (Services).

Please ensure you have read and understood the Academy Terms together with the terms set out below before you access or use the Platform:

My Warhammer – User Account Terms: these set out the terms which apply generally to your use of the services available on the My Warhammer and the opening of a Warhammer account, which shall also apply the use of the Warhammer Academy Platform.

Your use of the Services
1. You may share links with third parties to content viewed within the Platform via external third party communication platforms, however you should note that the recipient will not be able to access the content without a My Warhammer Account.
2. The Platform is configured so that you cannot download content from the Platform to store for your own or any third party viewing at a later date, you are only permitted to view content whilst logged into the Platform.
3. Most Warhammer products featured are suitable for ages 12+, however some tools and paints are for ages 16+, where parental supervision is required for use. Always check the age grade and follow the instructions for any products you purchase.
4. You are able to set individual preferences in the Platform, which you may alter at any time. You should be aware that preference set in your My Warhammer Account will not automatically apply to the Platform preferences.
5. From time to time, we may send you a service message by email notifying you of incomplete pathways, incomplete lessons, onboarding journeys or content availability or similar messages. These will only be sent if you have elected to opt in to receive such messages as part of your onboarding journey in the Platform.
6. The Account section of your Platform will be set by default to opt out of receiving email notifications relating to those service messages set out in clause 1.5 above. You may opt in or out of notification emails at any time in the Account section of the Platform. For more details see the Games Workshop Privacy Policy

2. Limitation to the Service

2.1 The Platform does not permit you to download content or to upload your own content to the Platform (or to interact with any other users). You will only be able to view pre-recorded content owed by or licensed to us.

2.2 We reserve the right to update or modify any content as we see fit, with or without notice (for example, and without limitation, by removing references to outdated game rules). If such content is removed, modified or updated, you will not be able to view old content again, even if you have previously viewed that content.

2.3 Video content available on the Platform may be subject to parental controls and may be age-classified. We will also label this type of content, where applicable, by way of a short description to give you further information about why the content has been classified in such a way. We provide this information to enable you to make an informed choice about whether you wish to view the content or permit any children for whom you are responsible to view that type of content. It is your responsibility to read the relevant guidance and observe the age-ratings communicated to you and ensure that these are observed by any minors under your supervision, and we disclaim any and all liability for any failure by you to do so.

If you do not agree to the Academy Terms, please do not use our Platform or Services. You should save a copy of these Academy Terms for future reference. By accessing the Platform and using the Services, you confirm that you have read and accept the Academy Terms (and the My Warhammer Terms) and agree to be bound by them.
